GFCI with cover has been installed on outside deck wall for one week, and two rain events, and is still working. I certain the cover on top and sides with silicone as per instructions to seal mating surface to an uneven wood surface. My old GFCI cover had a worn out seal/seal, and wet weather caused the previous GFCIs to fail/malfunction and need replacement in less than a year. I'm hoping a new cover and GFCI does the fox. Time will tell!
